Yeah, the Bijou Bar (chuckled) used to be the hangout. We played softball for years, and then we'd go to the bar...two-step dancing, and wet T-shirt contests, and I just, | just remember being really genial...alcohol aside,...a really good, safe place to go let loose and like enjoy ourselves.

Strap on your cowboy boots, slick back your mullet and get ready for some COSprings flavah-flave.
This lesbian bar is definitely my favorite homo establishment in the Springs to take my straight friends. Adorned with a kind of rainbow-clapboard Americana, the Bijou Bar and Grill also hosts darts, pool, karaoke, barfights, and a significant minority of hairy cowboy mo's.
Oh well...when life gives you lesbians, make lesbianade.

Lo and behold it was Karaoke night (Wednesday) and I thought 'whoa' as I watched the singers take on the GIANT SCREEN in the middle of the dancefloor. BUT there was an ample selection and the DJ (Crystal) was cute, flirty and friendly (not to mention had GREAT pipes).

The drinks were none too strong but we found the bartender to be a shy and sweet cutie pie. I do believe we saw EVERY VERSION of lesbian roll through that place from ultra-femme lipstick to hard core bull dyke.

We had big fun though and the fast turn-around on the karaoke kept us entertained because no sooner than I'd finish my drink and my name was being called to sing. Needless to say there was MUCH drunken crooning that evening by yours truly. My sweetie of course enjoyed the out door smoking area (thank you Colorado, you won't find any such thing in Indiana).

We fortunately didn't witness any ontoward(sic) behavior and wound up having a MOST enjoyable evening in this gem of a very very lesbian bar.
