Stanley Norman
Stanley Norman wrote a piece in the November 1959 issue of the Denver Area Mattachine Newsletter retelling his account of being tricked and harassed by someone who claimed to be an undercover military cop from Camp Carson. According to Stanley's account, the man initially pretended to be gay and cruising, before claiming that he was actually an undercover military cop from Camp Carson, and that Stanley was under arrest. The man then led Stanley up to the business district, saying he was going to city jail. Stanley escaped when the man tells him to wait at a street corner. He later reports the man to the Colorado Springs Police Department, who confirm he his not actually a police officer. [1]
