History

Pikes Peak MCC started in a garage on July 22, 1979.[1] The pastor was Reverend Joyce Setalas. When membership increased, they moved into All Souls Unitarian Church at 730 N Tejon St. with Reverend Bonnie Daniel. In 1983, Reverend Roger Webb became pastor, and the church gained its charter status. In 1988, the church had 50 members. [2]

In the 80's, PPMCC would host an annual retreat at La Foret retreat center for gay and lesbian Christians called Excel.
