History

A literary magazine started by The Hide & Seek owner Tom Gehling sometime in the 70's. The first mention found was in the Pikes Peak Gay Community Center's first newsletter. To submit to the publication, people could contact Tom, or go to The Hide & Seek and leave their manuscript with the bartender. [1]

Editing the magazine was a way for Tom to stay in touch with his interest in the arts while managing the bar alongside his partner, Joe Brady. [2]

The last found mention of the publication is in the May 1985 issue of GAYSPEAK. [3]
