Comment Policy
There are comment sections at the bottom of pages to allow for easy contributions of information, experiences, memories, with the goal of recording a more complete picture of Colorado Springs LGBTQ+ history. For more in-depth contributions, you can access more information and the contribution form on the Contribute To The Project page.
Below are guidelines surrounding leaving public comments.
- Hateful/rude comments will be removed. Bigotry will be removed. Needless in-fighting and debates around validity of identities/terminologies and A Note on Language used/etc. will be removed.
- Information from comments might be added to articles as community perspectives, with the commenter cited. Please set your display name as the name you would want to be credited under.
- Critique or negative perspectives of historical businesses/organizations might be published, depending on the nature of the critique, which is up to my discretion as the editor of this project. Discretion will be used to limit privacy violations and to protect this project from accusations of slander. Positive or negative, please keep feedback respectful, thoughtful, mindful of subjectivity.
